Few destinations can pull off what Tasmania does in combining the world’s freshest and finest produce with the most adventurous wilderness. With 19 national parks covering 40% of Australia’s island state, native animals and ancient forests combine to create the cleanest and greenest environment possible. These pristine forests, productive agricultural lands and pristine seas provide a natural supermarket of deliciously fresh produce. Dine on succulent seafood like oysters, trout, lobster, abalone, scallops and salmon. Enjoy Tasmania’s unique leatherwood honey, pepperberries, Cape Grim beef and premium wines from over 200 vineyards.
